The first time you light your candle, allow enough time for the wax to reach a full melt pool right to the edges of the container. This will result in a clean burn and avoid the “tunnelling” effect.

Trim the wick to ¼” tall before you light your candle to keep the wax clean and burning nicely.

Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Stop burning the candle when there is only 1/2" wax remaining in the vessel.

Never leave a burning candle unattended; extinguish the candle before leaving the room.

Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

Place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting.

Note: Frosting can occur with 100% soy wax. This is normal and a sign that your wax is pure and free of toxic additives.

Why soy wax?

We use 100% soy wax because it creates a clean burn without harmful chemicals, and they are longer lasting! Many candles currently on the market use paraffin wax or a blend of paraffin and other waxes. Paraffin, when burned, lets off carcinogenic toxins in the air. We like to keep our candles clean and without the headaches.

Why cotton wicks?

We use cotton wicks because they create a clean burn. Many candles use toxic metals and other materials in their wicks that create carcinogenic smoke in the air. We like to keep our candles free of that.

How long do your candles burn?

One of the many great things about soy wax is they take a long time to burn. The burn time for our 9 oz candles is 55+ hours.

Why isn’t my candle burning evenly?

When you light your candle each time, make sure to let the wax melt pool reach the edges of the glass container. This will prevent the wax from creating the tunneling effect. Please see our candle care instructions here.

What is the right way to care for my candle?

How do I recycle my glass jar?

Once you have finished burning your candle, you can place the jar in the freezer for a couple hours. Once the jar has had enough time to reach a cool temperature, the remaining wax should pop out. You can wash the jar with soapy water and reuse it. We like using it as a cute flower jar or pencil holder.
